Hey everyone! I hope all is well. Thank you as always for your support, and for reading this Substack. We leverage this tool to keep you updated as we progress, tease some upcoming launches, and give more context of what we do and why we do what we do!
When we originally founded Blue Studios, it was under the belief that if you remove some barriers to access tools, resources, and more, more people would come closer to maximizing their human potential. It’s an audacious goal, but something that guides our decision-making every single day. And what if you created enough incentives that you could create a middle class through our “Blue-conomy”? We started with STEM education, but it’s just a sliver of our goals to onboard more people into the future.
We fundamentally believe that everyone should have access to great education, but also the right incentives to keep you going when it’s easy to just turn to something else. Then Web3 came along and it was a game-changer for us and accelerated our goals on how we’d get closer to our goals. We want as many people to have access to a constellation of experts for every interest, dream, and ambition. That’s one of the long-term north stars we’re moving towards. And not just education it could be fitness, mindfulness, tutoring, hobbies, or performance coaching. Or it could just be a access to a good mentor who can help you think through life’s challenges.
We started with Learn2Earn for K-12 students because it embodied a platform that we had spent a great deal of time building, and we wanted to add value to our token holders immediately. Incentives aligned with participation: our favorite combination.
And we heard you, what about the adults? Anything more for the adults in the family to participate? Absolutely! Our second phase of daily incentives is Burn2Earn, an opportunity to reward our token holders and community members with a prize pool for working out, mindfulness, or meditation. The philosophy behind it is “Healthy Mind and Healthy Body”. As someone who comes from a family who has had some recent challenges healthwise, it was important for us to be as inclusive as possible on what constitutes “working out” for those who may have physical challenges. One thing we’ll never do is focus on the number of calories burned, intensity, output, etc. We’ll only focus on the inputs, which is our only requirement is that you do it for 30 minutes, have the date visible in your screenshot, but we encourage you to cover up any personal data information on any outputs (calories burned, strain, etc) because it’s not our business to know. And if you do a meditation class, that’s all the same to us! We consider that a form of working out! And we encourage you to let us know of any other ways we can qualify our Burn2Earn Bella Challenge. The more inclusive, the better.
And don’t worry, we’ll have more learning challenges for the adults in our community. We’ll be setting up a page of “Bounty Challenges” for the adults in our community for more age-appropriate challenges like Writing Competitons, Design Competitions, Content Challenges, and more. And we’ll have some regular prize pools set up for that as well! This concept is borrowed from Layer3’s Bounty Challenges, and we figured we set up our own regular ones for our community!
So we’ll have some more details over the next couple of days, but we’re excited to begin the Burn2Earn challenge while concurrently running our Learn2Earn Bella Challenge. And you know what’s next!?!? Play2Earn. Daily prize pool to Learn, Burn, and Play is what we hope every token holder has a daily chance to win some ETH, but more importantly continue to build our community as we build more infrastructure, tools, and protocols to mint our progress as a community on-chain. So trust us, every day, soon enough, there will be daily activities for both young students and adults to move towards the best versions of yourself, in a healthy way, which we believe will yield a better, more inspiring community. That’s the community we want to be a part of!
